TIKKA T3 .308 Lite

Hey guys i went and got an early christmas present the other day. Obviously its the rifle in the title. Its a great shooter just really hard on the shoulder(KICKS LIKE A MULE)!!! I shot inch and a half groups at 150yds.

But the reason why i posted this was to c if ne 1 else on here had/has a TIKKA. And what you guys thoughts are on it.

ever thought about a limbsaver pad, or pachmayr deccellerator pad? I shot my dad's 300 win mag before and it hurt like a SOB! Shoulder hurt for 2 weeks from 12 shots through it. I just put a limbsaver pad on it, and it no longer hurts. I've heard equal results out of the pachmayr pads in a 7mm mag.

Yeah i only put 9 shots through it and it wheled me. Ill have to look into gettin one of those pads for the shoulders.

Here is the model # of pad that says will fit most Tikka T3 with syntehtic stock. 10011. This is the limbsaver pad.

Looking at the pachmayr site, I don't see one listed for Tikka. At least in pre-fit pads. I suppose you could always get one that needs to be sized for your stock and have it custom fit by a gunsmith.

Yeah i would much rather just take the recoil or get the pad that actually straps to ure shoulder! What are your thoughts on the TIKKA?
