What would you choose... XDs or Sig SP2022?

I have both an XDs and an SP2022 in .40. Two completely different firearms with completely different missions. The 2022 can be fired all day long comfortably. The gun's ergos are perfect for my hands, and it's a tack-driver. The trigger reset is far better than that of my P226. But it's probably too big to summer carry, and it's way heavier than you'd want to lug around all day.

The XDs is a CCW gun, period. It's too small for me to spend serious range time with, and the sight radius is too short for a HD weapon.


They're both excellent firearms.

I have now thrown in the XDM 4.5 (9mm) into this discussion since we will soon not be able to buy AR's... the next thing to go is HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINES (After Conn. school massacre, where will the gun debate go? - CBS News) Therefore, it's time to stock up on all the MAGS we can as well as the guns that hold those mags.

Well I ended up getting an XDs and I couldn't be happier with me decision. Time to get the CCW and start carrying this beastly machine.

Note: I loved the 2022, but they only had it in .40 so I passed. It will be the next gun to get though
