Buy the 2022 now, sell the Bodyguard, and put the cash towards an XDS. You could save up and get that one eventually. Now you have both!

Bought my Bodyguard for about $370 after tax... now they sell them for about $340-$380 here in Central Ohio (Vances, Buckeye Outdoors, Woodberry Outfitters, & Fin Feather & Fur). What would be a fair asking price for the thing? $300? It only has about 125 through it.

I'd get the 2022 as you already have pocket and carry guns plus I'm a big Sig fan.

On the value of your bodyguard I see them at shows pretty darn cheap, my guess is you'll be happy to get mid 200 out of it (but I could be wrong).

That's what I was fearing... I'll probably just keep the thing and just save the pennies for the XDs or the Sig SP2022 (whichever one I don't get). Still not entirely sold on what to do... will go handle the two guns after Xmas and make the final decision then. I appreciate the help fellas!

Great price but Horrible, Non existent customer service. Be prepared to wait a month to get your gun.

I am done doing business with those clowns.

Just get the 2022 and be done with it. let me make it easier for you...

  • XDs is not a range gun, it's for CCW (which you don't have)
  • 45 is almost twice as expensive to shoot then 9mm
  • 5 rounds vs. 15. You'll be reloading constantly
  • 2022 is cheaper to purchase

I hated my SP2022 9mm. Sold it after a month and 200 rounds down the pipe. It had poor shooting ergos, a top-heavy balance, heavy for a polymer (nearly as much as a P226), poor fit-and-finish, mags were overpriced and scarce, and the grips were too small (even larger backstrap) and extremely stiff and difficult to remove. All in all, it offers zero advantages over more popular and established polymer handguns such as Glock, Smith M&P, Springfield and H&K.

Have you tried to carry the Glock 19? Before i bought anything i would get a holster and try concealing the Glock. Its comparable in length to a Ruger SR9C and weighs less. Its a little taller and has a little larger grip. If you can conceal that gun it opens up all kinds of possibilities on your next gun purchase. I would dump the 380.
