Kahr CM9 trouble
I recently bought a Kahr CM9. I disassembled it but I'm having a lot of trouble reassembling. I inserted the bolt and properly rested the recoil spring against the barrel lug. The wire spring is also over the slide stop pin hole. When I try to put the slide on the frame, I hear a click and it's not seated all the way back in the proper position. I can push the slide back slightly but I'm still unable to put the slide stop pin in. I know that this is operator error because the gun functioned fine before I took it apart and I'm quite unfamiliar with the weapon system. Any advice at all is better than nothing, I watched so many youtube videos on the CM9 my eyes are starting to bleed. Thanks guys!

This is easy if it's what I think.
If you take the slide off the frame completely does the pin go all the way in?
If it does, pull the pin back out, put the slide back on, put the pin in as far as it will go, then pull the slide to the rear as you push the pin in. As the slide goes back the pin should go all the way in.
What is probobly happening is the pin is going in and contacting the barrel link which isn't quite lined up yet, as you pull the barrel/slide back, it lines up and the pin goes in.
I had some very early trouble but doing it like this now I can literally take it apart and put it back together in 30 seconds with my eyes closed.
Most instructions and videos on this pistol over complicate the process.
Lots of CM/PM owners here.
Let us know if it's ok.

The spring is where it needs to be. Maybe it's going on the wrong side of the pin. I wanna say that's the biggest issue people have reassembling.

ChecK to see if the recoil spring is not in the way and preventing the rod from coming through the end of the slide.
