Ha! This is the determining factor. I will just spend that $80 in ammunition and practice some more with it .
I have very few rounds through .40 though, different firearms. Like I said, I just think of the .40 as a pretty "snappy" round.
I am pretty excited but it won't be until next week that I have the Glock in hand.

I think you'll like it man, wasn't trying to say otherwise. Glocks are nice guns I own two myself, they are just ugly as hell but function awesome!
Looking forward to range report after you get her.

Thanks. I am still hanging tight for my Form 4 to be approved....I was hoping to have a big ol' happy range trip but I really doubt I have the patience to wait for that.
I have somewhat pushed back range trips for these purchases of late.

I have a 1992 made Glock 22 that I bought used in 1994 and it is still my everyday carry gun.
Totally reliable and a very good gun....the Glock 22 is one of my favs.
The power and capacity of a 9 in a similar sized gun, cheap mags and accessories, fits any holster made for the G17...what is not to like?

That versatility is a great part of ownership. I am still excited.
Anyone have a shoulder holster for it? I am generally against them but I won't be able to stuff it IWB.

Well, couldn't beat the mailing system....Will pick up the Glock on Tuesday. I have Trijicon HD night sights on the way, my Galco vertical shoulder holster came in, the lone wolf 40-9 threaded conversion barrel is en route, waiting on 800 rounds of .40, have several magazines in 9mm and .40....Just need the Glock!

Nice deal, I freaking love my G22. I, too, have the 40-9 Lone Wolf conversion barrel and after firing several mags of .40, going to the 9mm feels like a freaking .22, no joke. The Glock has become one of my goto handguns.

I run a Streamlight TLR-1, which is fantastic, and experience zero malfunctions with all types of ammo.
Oh, also...you may want to use a bit of loktite on your conversion barrel thread protector as it will come loose during firing sessions.
