I have one. I have tried several different 9mm pistols and this one is by far my favorite so far. Perfect combination of size (not too small, but can be carried comfortably), accuracy and feel (everyone that's held it said that it felt like it was custom made for their hands).

All of my friends that shot one wanted one, but they were kind of hard to get a hold of for a while.

You will NOT regret getting one.

Loved the gun, didn't like it for carry... Accurate too.

Mine hated Remington UMC (I don't blame it).

I looked at the P-01 and the PCR last year. Both are great guns. In the end, I decided I didn't want the rail. The PCR is very accurate for me. I use it as an-off duty gun. Been thinking of getting some thinner VZ grips for carry but the rubber grips that came on it are very comfortable for me. The advantage of the P-01 over the PCR is that it has passed NATO testing (if that makes a difference to you) and I believe the mags come with a rubber or plastic base plate where you have to buy them separately for the PCR and of course, the rail if you want that. However, the PCR was about $75 less than the P-01 when I bought it. Not certain of current prices. If you plan to carry concealed, holsters are a bit problematic but Crossbreed has one specific for the P-01. I think you'll find any CZ is well worth the money. Good luck in whatever you decide. Dew

about the only bad things you can find about cz pistols is the poly on some of the old ones was less than stellar, and the epoxy paint is not great.

I wish mine spo1 was stain nickle but i was unable to find one in that finish, just the cz75 compact is on the current CZ corp us website as being available in satin nickle. Same with my rammi.

Dont get me wrong the epoxy paint is not total crap, but its not as good as the black finish on glocks, or xds as a comparably priced competitor(s).

They run great, not as easy to completely strip the gun like a glock or xd, mp, but they run great, and trigger gets better the more you shoot it.

Its a real work horse gun, right up there with the best guns ever.

The only thing I don't care for is the gritty trigger. Other than that I love mine.

I have six or seven CZs to include a PCR and P-01. The P-01 has night sights whereas the PCR doesn't, but they're both awesome. I've never had a failure of any kind with any of them with the P-01 having over 1k rounds. The trigger on the P-01 was perfect since day one, but the trigger on the PCR was initially gritty. I snap-capped it for roughly 300 cycles and further put another 400 rounds through to where the trigger is now pretty nice.

Have have around 18 9mms and the PCR and P-01 are my primary carries. They're the perfect size for carry to me, not too big and not too small, about average in weight for the size, and carry enough rounds. As mentioned, reliability has been 100% so far, the fun feels great in hand, points naturally, and is uber accurate. They're the guns that set the standard for me.

It tends to smooth our a LOT the more you shoot it. I would just suggest putting a snap cap in it and dry firing the crap out of it. It will get very smooth. Also, a lighter hammer spring makes it smoother as well.

Buy it. The most accurate pistol I have. No problems at all. My only gripe is the trigger distance in double action is a bit of a stretch.
