I bought a Caracal C model a few months back. Definitely agree that the trigger is better than Glock; no comparison there. I have no issue with the sights, although night sights would be nice. I've found that the slide fit is a little loose on the frame, but unlike many, I don't consider that an issue as long as the accuracy is there and I'm fairly accurate with the pistol. I definitely like how it's a little shorter than the Glock 19 but holds just as many rounds which makes it easier for me to CC, but not lose any capacity.

Great gun especially considering the price. I think I paid around $460 for mine out the door.

I paid the same out the door. My Caracal C is slightly more accurate than my G19 or G17, even with the looser slide to frame fit.

I put another 150 thru it this weekend...... 50 wolf and 100 WWB. No problems. I still do not like the Straight 8 type sights. Not going to worry about trying to swap them.
Im going to use it for a bedside gun and will mount a laser/light combo on it.

Here they are for $399 shipped.... Ive got $412 in mine with the FFL transfer. LGS had theirs marked $489 + 10% tax.

Yeah, but like the Steyr MA-1....when you hold the Caracal in the hand...it's shape and appearance makes sense. It points beautifully...like the Steyr.

I bet it has really low recoil like the Steyr. I was shocked at how soft the recoil was on the 9mm MA-1....it was almost like shooting a 22 rimfire.

At 399...man....I am trying to think of a reason NOT to pick one up!

Hi newbie here just like to share some experience with my caracal c qs and some pics.

1.) smooth trigger
2.) very low recoil
3.) doesnt jam even at 1,000 rds using factory or reloads and different gr's
5.) easy to clean and maintain
6.) very robust design
7.) packs a 15+1 ammo very good for ccw
8.) QS very effective design for fast acquisition particularly in CQB situations

yeah, when I saw one at the LGS I knew I wouldnt pay what they were asking for one but when I found them online for under $400 I knew I could recoup most of the cost if it didnt work out. So far so good.
