Buckmark Grips: Standard vs URX

Howdy all,

Need some help because, of course, I cannot make this decision on my own.

I will be buying a Buckmark. Either the Camper Stainless or the Stainless Camper. The only differences in the pistols that I am aware of are the grips (and frame) and the front sight.

I have larger hands. I have felt the standard grips and they felt fine, but I have read a lot of praises to the URX grips which I have not had the chance to handle.

If anyone could chime in with advice/knowledge/input about the differences in grips pertaining to fit, feel, or function I would appreciate it.

URX is the only way to go. I've shot both and ended up buying the URX. For me the grips fits my hand perfect. Which i think makes me shoot it better. Get one in your hands before you decide.

I like the URX on ours, but you need to hold & feel one for yourself before you decide IMO.
Good luck!

Agree that it would be worth a look but I think you will likely much prefer the URX grip.

I've got the UDX, which is another option. It's close to the URX but slightly different. Mine fits my hand like a glove.

I have a Buckmark Practical URX and I really like the feel and fit of the URX grips. This is a good thing because the one draw back of the URX model is there does not appear to be much in the way of aftermark grips available for the URX. I shoot Bullseye with my Buckmark and considered upgrading my grips to anatomical match target grips since these minimize the variation in your grip, essentially taking one variable out of the equation. Most shooters in our pistol league use some type of anatomical grip. I have only found one manufacturer of anatomical grips for the URX model and they are pretty salty.

I've found the same for conventional grips as well. Lots more available for the standard model vs. the URX.

But as I keep improving with the URX grips, I think I'll stick with them.

I've got the Plus Stainless UDX and absolutely love it. Love the grips, gun angle, and fibre optic sights and it was well worth the premium I paid for it. Get the UDX grips you won't be sorry.

Absolute tack driver and a blast to shoot.

The UDX grips are the smallest of the 3. I did not like them for my larger hands.

Find somewhere you can handle the URX. Preferably somewhere you can handle both side by side. No matter what your told on here, if you don't, you'll always be thinking the other could have been better.
