EAA Witness Trigger Question
Hey all, I just picked up a used EAA Witness 9mm compact...in my haste to get it cleaned and get out to shoot it tomorrow, I got it home and as I do with all my guns when I get them home, completely disassembled it and cleaned it from top to bottom. Gun functioned flawlessly before I did this...but was exceptionally dirty...got the gun all back together but the trigger will not reset after dropping the hammer. When the slide is racked the hammer cocks, depress trigger, hammer drops but will not reset when the slide is racked again so you can not squeeze the trigger to get what would be a second round off if it was being fired. I am almost certain the problem is with the way I have the trigger return spring installed as it just lays above the trigger and has NO tension on it. I did have the sear housing out, but not apart, along with every other part on this gun and trigger is the only issue that I am having. Can anyone give me input as to the alignment of the trigger spring or point me in the right direction? I checked youtube and had no luck there.
Any input would be great!! Thanks in advance!!
