Glock 19 2 pin opinion needed

I have a friend looking to purchase a used Glock 19 2 pin (believe that is a Gen 3, let me know if I'm wrong on this one). Seller wants $400 for the handgun plus rail light, scope, and 30 round extended mag. Two 15 round mags are included. Shot only 500-800 rounds through it. I am looking to see if this is a great deal, good deal, or is this person nuts. Thanks everyone in advance.

P.S I do not own a Glock, never have.

Is it 2 or 3 pin?
Did you count the pin in the grip?
I own both and don't find one any better than the other.

Does the grip have finger grooves?
If so, it is a Gen 3 or even a Gen 4, if not, a Gen 1 or 2.
I prefer a Gen 1 or Gen 2 over a Gen3 or Gen 4.
I don't care for the finger grooves.

Also a G17 should have 17 round mags, a G19 has 15 round mags..


Regardless of the answers to these questions, if the gun is in great condition, I feel $400 is a fair price..

Excluding my "sight unseen". For the round count and all the extras that your getting, I'd say, good deal! Buy with confidence.

Sounds like a fair price IMO.
If it has 15rd mags I'd think that's a G19 & not a G17.

Fair price....great pistol.

Buy it and shoot the daylights out of it....I doubt you can kill a Glock 17.

I have a 2nd gen one made in 1992 and it is STILL running 100% trouble free and I have lost track of how many rounds I have through the thing. Probably the most trouble free firearm I have ever owned.

Yep, jump on it. If that is their bottom dollar it is still a good buy.
