I feel bad for the gun but the wife is happy

Long story short...I have finally convinced my wife to get her CCDW as the salon she works at apparently has a stalker/creeper of some sorts. We also have a six month old that she is out and about with and home alone with at times.
She chose the Walther P22 to start with but made me promise her a pink gun. Started looking around the local gun shops and on the internet. Finally found a deal on one after two months of searching (Im a tightwad, or cheapass as she calls it) but it was in ODG color.
Bought it anyway and with the money I saved had it painted painted pink and carbon fiber dipped - and still came out cheaper than in most scenarios I came to.
I feel bad for the original gun as I really liked it and the color but its what she wanted and will pack it I am ok with it...gives me all the reason to go buy another one!!!
So what do you guys think??

Oh man, I feel bad for the gun as well.... Theres a special spot on a clearance rack for pink guns in my little world.... not my thing. BUT, as long as shes happy and regardless of the color, its still works so shoot away! A pink gun is better than no gun so ill bite my tongue

Oh the humanity!!!

I have a close friend that should never see those pics or she'd have that done to EVERYTHING she owns. I'm with Sunny though, a pink gun is much better than no gun.

she is now armed. that's what's important.

if you want one in OD, buy one for you and keep it OD.

and yes its ugly as home made sin though the paint job looks to be quality work.

Not only is it pink...but it is a 22LR.

I have shot 1 pound squirrels with the 22LR at distance and not killed them right away. Wonder what the 22LR will do to a 250lb man that is intent on harming me? Hmm...

The appearance of the gun does not jar me nearly as much as the choice of caliber. 9mm should be an absolute minimum, if you ask me.

...to each his own.

Remember, the goal is to stop an aggressor, 22LLR a few times would do the trick.....

I think it looks like a toy and could give a youngster the wrong idea...

you don't pattern and color a handgun after a water pistol.
