Glock Gen4's?
So I'm looking into a Glock 30 for my concealed piece. But I've found I only like the Gen 4 system. Just the way it sits in my hand with those changeable back straps.
I can't seem to find any info on it. Is Glock doing a Gen 4 G30? The site doesn't really explain it to much... but from the looks of it I'm assuming no.

They haven't come out with one yet; no idea if they plan to or not, but I think it would be distinctly possible.

The rumor is the Gen 4 G 30 are supposed to be out by the end of this year.
I read somewhere on the internet (so it must be true ) that Glock is over a half mil in backorders.

I like the Glock 30 except that it's overall thickness leaves something to be desired. It is small everywhere else but in that category which is the most important IMHO.

You are right about one thing, The Glock home page really never shows anything. I wish they would get up to date.

I haven't seen or heard much on upcoming Gen 4 models, but I think they will eventually offer Gen 4 variations for pretty much their entire line, beginning with the most popular models first (G22, 23, 17, 19, 26, 27, 34, 21) and then the others. We'll just have to wait and see I guess....

The Gen4 G29's are out now. I would imagine the G30 shouldn't be far behind

Personally, I would stick with the Gen 3 because it's a proven design. I know they had a few issues with some of the Gen 4 models, but I'd imagine they will have been ironed out by the time the Gen 4 G30 hits the shelves.
I have a G30SF, and it's incredibly easy to conceal. People complain about the thickness, but I say it's pretty darn good seeing as you are getting 10+1 rounds of .45ACP in a subcompact package. The ammo count was the whole reason I bought mine.
