fighting urge for a Caracal C
I'm having a real hard time fighting the urge to buy the Caracal C. I like how it looks, the reports/reviews have been good, and I'm always hungry for a new gun. The things holding me back are 1) for striker fired pistols I have an XD9SC, a PPQ, and Nib-X Glock 19 , 2) I have around 15 9mm pistols, and 3) I'm short on space in the gun safe.
The XD9SC is great, but the G19 is only slightly larger and I like the Nib-X finish. The trigger on the G19 is what turns me off to it (although I ordered/received parts to hopefully take care of that). The PPQ is outstanding, but it would be nice if it were a little shorter in height. The ergonomics and trigger being exceptional really make it an excellent pistol. I still find the ergonomics of a CZ better, though, and still primarily carry my P-01 or PCR.
I'm trying to convince myself to wait until next week so that I don't make an impulse buy and after the week's up, if I'm still interested, I may place my order. I'm also interested in a CZ rifle (the 7.62x39 carbine) or a Savage rifle so one of those may get my money, but a Caracal would get more range time.
Pray that my will doesn't betray me.

Don't fight it.
In response to your objections: 1) You DON'T have the Caracal C
2) You have 15...but not 16
3) You need a new safe anyway
There, fixed it for ya. Easy breezy. No more excuses. It's a good gun, I've shot it and worthy of being in a collection. You should own that pistol.

I want a fullsize 9mm myself.

I sold my G19 cause i didn't like the trigger. Im using those funds to buy a Caracal C, which I'm picking up tomorrow. The trigger pull is real smooth and the grip ergo's are better than Glock, to me. The Caracal also has the lowest bore axis of any polymer pistol. Everything I've been reading about them is positive.

$400-$500. Centerfire Systems has them online for $399 before shipping.

The *only* thing I don't like about the Caracal is the slide release. It's sharp and requires a lot of force to operate, but only when you're closing it on an empty or no magazine.
Frankly, seeing how you already have a PPQ, your real decision is Caracal or FNS. I'd say the Caracal has the best trigger of the three, but the FNS has a better grip. Also factory night sights.

I will be comparing my new FNS back to back with the Caracal C, as soon as the ammo i ordered shows up. The main problem with the Caracal's is they have no night sight options yet.

Wellllllll, problem solved pardner! Just send a dozen or so of those guns to me. I have room in my safe!
Seriously. I do have room. Ship them over to me!

I want one too!
...and I also own a Glock 19 (...and a Hi-Power, P228 and a Glock 17)
They sure look nice and they're priced decently....some day I will probably have one.

I'm a bit closer to placing an order. I went through the trouble of changing out my Glock connector to a 3.5# version and installed the NY1 trigger spring and the trigger actually got heavier. I was under the impression it would stay the same or get a little lighter.
The main problem I have with the Glock is that it's okay all the way up to the breaking point. At that instance, it requires just a tiny bit more pressure to break which throws off my POI. I can accurately fire to POA with long, heavy DA triggers, SA triggers, but have trouble getting the Glock to do the same. It's the only pistol in my collection that this happens with and is very frustrating.
On the good side, I completely tore down the Glock which I've never done before. I really like its simplicity. Very Lego-like like a Beretta.
