Help me identify these springs !!!

Guys I was just on Ghosts website and read the following (got the entire kit today)

"Please Note: The 4.0 lb Firing Pin Spring may cause light primer strikes in some pistols this is the Target/Sport configuration.

If you want to use this kit for Self Defense or in a 10mm/45 caliber Glock check the box below for the 6.0 lb firing pin spring."

Now the LGS who installed the kit is one of the best and well known shops in FL. However I want to make sure I have the 6#'er in. Here's a pic of what I was given after the gunsmith did the install.

I don't know if he used the 4# or kept the 6. Can anyone tell what's in that pic?

PS: Dry Fire is a much much better improvement over stock. I would not call this a "hair trigger" it's lighter (while dry firing) and just what I was looking for . I hope I don't eat my words on the range !

Mink,

Unfortunately, springs are too small to put much of a label on.

I'd think that your best bet would be to lay both springs, side by side. The heavier spring should look stouter.

If that doesn't work, then your best bet may be to buy a new spring, and install it.

I don't personally know anyone that has the tools to compare springs, other than by visual differences.

Thanks,

Duane

Thanks Duane !

I'm going to ask the gunsmith at my LGS (who installed the kit) . I may need to purchase a 6# firing pin spring. I don't know what the stock one was but I'm pretty sure he put the 4# one in.

I don't want light primer strikes and I love this trigger , hopefully my gunsmith can relieve a little concern I am having right now. It's a very well known awesome LGS (Shooters Jacksonville) , so I know I got a professional install.

Thanks Duane !
