Nice man. I shot one back in the fall, my first time shooting any glock, and I really liked it.
You have a holster picked out yet?

Congrats on the new gun!
the G27 is an excellent gun, I personally know several people who carry it and are very happy with it. A Gen 4 G26 is on my list of contenders for my future CCW piece.
BTW love those Gold Dot rounds too! I've got a box of 124gr +p 9mm GDs coming in the mail tomorrow for my new Gen 4 G17.
Enjoy that new gun and be sure to give us a range report!

Nice purchase, just "played" with one today. Guy had a threaded 9mm conversion barrel in it... Seemed odd, but hey the gun felt nice. lol Congrats on the new gun.

How was the transition from xdm to glock? I'm currently in the same boat as you but going in a kind of opposite direction with the caliber. I've the a full size XDm 40 that I'm thinking about getting rid of the the G26. I was considering the G27, but I just think it would be a little too snappy in that small of a pistol.
How well does it fit in your pocket? I would probably primarily have it in a IWB holster, but it would be a great option to be able to just pocket carry it if I had to in the summertime.

its not too bad in my pocket.certainly more comfortable than wearing the xdm 3.8 on my belt.the grip on the xdm was digging into my hip,i couldnt take it any longer.the recoil is not bad at all.its def snappier than the 9mm but not as bad as expected.you can ask 10 people and 5 would say its too snappy so i guess it would be best to try one.i personally love it.i topok it to the range today and it shot very well

update,range repot
i went to the local range and took a few boxes of federal 135g hydrashoks and had at it.the lower left group was when i was taking my time and after that i kinda let it loose.the follow up shots were pretty easy for a small frame but i guess the 135g round had something to do with that but none the less im happy with the gun.the range was 15ft.i love these zombie targets,i wish i would have come up with that idea.i bet the guy is making a fortune.
