I may be one of the few on here that loves his XD as much as his M&P!! No koolaid chugger here. Hate to say it because my equal love for the XD but S&W DID steel Springfield's thunder! They got schooled, owned,etc, on this pooch.............

I don't have the Shield (yet) so i can only speak from a marketing standpoint. And the marketing on both sides needs no explanation. Including the XDs's adds being put into "remission"

Will SA sell a sh*t pile if the slims?? Sure they will. (I'm gonna own one myself too proly)But they will have to eat crow for some time on this one.

at under $400...Springfield is going to have a hard time beating the M&P Shield...interesting
