My Wife's CHL instructor was such a Glock Fanboy that she was of the same initial opinion about not buying a Glock as her Carry gun... Simply out of spite... Even though she could shoot the X out of her targets with my Gen2 G-19.

She wasted a few bucks jumping from an XD Service, to an SR9c and others. She finally rented a G-26, shot it side-by-side with other contenders and she finally gave in, because she simply shot it the best and can conceal it easily... and that's what counts. She blames her Instructor for NOT trying it sooner.

Amen to that!! How a pistol feels in your hand at the store counter, many times does not equate to how it feels to shoot and I cringe when reading someone going on about how good it feels to hold and not shooting it (borrow someone's at the range, rent one, whatever) before buying.

So many LOVE the way the PF-9 feels at the counter, only to be greatly surprised in how it feels to shoot (mainly its recoil). I Pocket Carry a PF-9 daily, but I'll be the 1st to admit it's not my favorite pistol to shoot. If I HAVE to carry IWB, the PF-9 stays home and I carry either my G-26, or my XDM9c.

The only advice I have is to Rent/Borrow one, try it for yourself, then decide for yourself.
If there were one perfect Pistol, wow... Everyone else would go out of business.

In the wide world of firearms and firearm owners, there are Glock, Sig, HK, XD/XDm, 1911, 45ACP, 9mm, 40cal, semi-auto, revolver, AR, AK, etc. etc. etc. fans.
Many of these people are very passionate about a certain brand, caliber, or type of firearm, and I say "Good for them".
Then you will find, as a majority that we have around this forum, the firearm owners that own many types of firearms.

I've owned and sold XD pistols but do, and always will, own a Glock 19.
I like the stock Glock trigger over the sloppy XD/XDm trigger.
The Glock fits my needs better than the XD/XDm did.
I also own Ruger, Sig, 1911s, Beretta, Browning, and others.
No fan-boy about any of them, although I do favor my EMP.
I'm not really sure what it is that you are trying to convey, other than you are being an ass over people that you think are being an ass.

You don't like Glocks, because some think they are the ultimate pistol.
Good for them, they have found a firearm that works for them.
Then there is you, that will not buy or shoot a Glock because of the people that do own and shoot them and feel passionate about their choice of firearm.

You don't want to buy a Glock, who really gives a sh!t...

Again, I will say I think they're probably good and yes, as I said twice if you take the time to read, that I will shoot one next week to see what all the fuss is about, and I'll be fair about it.

Tell me how I was an ass? I'm simply saying that I can't stand when people are so dismissive when they hear you bought anything other than their favorite brand.

I'll be a little more fair about this than you are (and I've been very fair if you pull your head out of your ass and actually read what I wrote after the initial post, which was facetious if you know what that means) and I'll say that you clearly aren't one of them being that you own several different brands. However, your denial of their existence and your downplaying it by calling them simply passionate is just as bad. "Oh, he's an a-hole and telling me that everything I own is sh_t just because he's that enthusiastic about his favorite brand".

If you don't give a sh!t, great! Then don't take the time to post, especially when it's clear that you didn't take the time out of your busy day of touching yourself to actually read the thread.

I read everything you wrote and I will freely post on any thread I choose.

Now read what I wrote, I never stated that the fan boys did not exist.
There are plenty of them around.
I only stated that I don't care that they love their Glocks and that they are passionate about the firearm.
I also stated there are fan boys of all kinds for all type of firearms and calibers.

I've shot and owned a multitude of firearms, including Glock (owning 2) which is more than you have done.
You're dissing Glock because of the fan boys.

i own a sig, xdmc, m&pc, gock26, and various revolvers and i have a love hate relationship with my glock. it is super reliable but i hate the way it looks and feels ive sold one and bought another to replace it cuz i couldnt decide but i love my xdm and m&p sooo much more i could never say its the best gun ever. i will say it is a great gun and worth the money i spent on it.
