I want more bullets in my gun, not fewer. The best thing to ever happen to the CC world was the development of the double stack compact. If one can't dress around a compact then they are not trying.

Carry a gun you can fight with. Anything else is putting you in a postion of loose.

With a smaller gun you don't have to try. A back-up mag will not only give me plenty of capacity but a spare mag should the first one fail, which box mags do from time to time.

I feel its more of people do not want to change anything about their lives and carry a gun to say they carry a gun. 90% of people also don't train with or heck, even shoot their carry gun enough to become proficient.

I carry a full size gun, I have made very little changes in the way I dress. I went from tucked in Tee's to untucked casual button up front shirts. Still the same comfort and very minor changes. But still I changed.

The more you have to change the less likely you are to carry in the first place, thus the popularity of pocket guns. Better to have five rounds in your pocket than the ten rounds left on the nightstand during a fast trip to the 7-11.

I have made basically no changes in the way I dress. Other that getting a gun belt. I wear t-shirts and jeans and for work, polo shirt or button up dress shirt and docker type pants. I carry a Glock g30 everyday all day except where I can't. I also usually carry a XD9sc for a bug either on the ankle or inside coat pocket.

I'll admit I have sipped the small single stack 9 kool-aid, but just can't seem to justify the purchase. I was really excited about the Nano until I held one. I am looking forward to the new Sig, XDs and now the M&P. I will eventually buy one just because I want it along with a few other firearms that I would like. But I know from a couple of months ago it isn't on the top of the list. I went to LGS to buy either the CM9 or Nano but ended with a Gen4 G19

And yes I agree, it is better to have a gun than not. To me, the more law abiding citizens buying firearms and get their CCW, the better it is for the gun community.

My XD9sc fits my EDC bill just fine right now. I don't really have a niche for a single stack 9mm at the moment. If I am going to go with less rounds, I want a higher caliber. I will probably pass this one by and opt for an XDS in .40 or .45 later on.
