help me spend my money....

I'm going to have about $350 to spend on a gun and need some help deciding what to buy.

I could buy verious AR15 bits and pieces / ammo, or I could get a gun of some kind.

I'm looking at the Keltec PMR30 at CDNN for 299, the Regent 1911A1 from CDNN for 349, the Keltec sub 2000 9mm from CDNN for 299.

Does anyone have any experience with one of those or have anything to suggest that I might want to buy?

I'd buy that High Point 9mm carbine. Looks fun, heard nothing but good things about it, and it comes in way under your $350 budget.

If you don't already have one, get a good .22 pistol or rifle.

I've got nothing on those you listed. Never shot nor handled any if them.

at $350, unless you get a great deal on a used one, I'd put it aside and save up till you can get something nicer

I don't know much about the .22 pistols out there, but you can get a walther p22 at bud's for your price range

+1 if you're wanting a low cost nice 1911 look into Rock Island.

Actually, I was just thinking about getting one of those instead.

As for the 22 pistol, I have a 22/45 with all the internal bells and whistles.

Right now I am stuck between the (22 mag.) PMR30 and the 1911A1 which I probably will just save a bit more and get the Rock Island.

i've seen RIA 1911's at gun shows for $369, gun shows are good places to get great deals. Also check local gun forum classifieds

Can you save the money and add a few bucks to it a month till you get enough for it to open up more options in price.

Save up for the RIA.

I think the PMR-30 would be a cool choice. Everyone I can find around here they are asking $500 + for 'em.
