Sadly, the guys with IDPA wouldnt let me use it for competitionn last night. It wouldnt quite fit in the box.

It uses the normal butstock but it needs the collapsable umm... recoil spring thingie.
I do plan to SBR this one. 6 months seems so long though.

seems like a good way to go to get an mp5, is it ilegal to buy the rifle and change the barrel to a short barrel, or buy the pistol and put a stock on it?

No, you cannot convert a rifle to a pistol without the tax stamp and 6+ months waiting. The same goes for the pistol to the rifle.
I plan to convert this pistol to a rifle once the paperwork is done.
