Your trigger finger pic is the same as mine. I DO recall changing the trigger on the SP-01 to the competition model which has a little less curve than the stock "fishhook" trigger, I thought that severe hook would give me blisters on the bottom half of my finger.

Yeah but even with the decocker models when you load it you will be at half cock and the only time you will have the trigger all the way forward is if you have a misfire and go for a second strike.

Ah, didn't know you meant the half-cock position. Gotcha

Hope this helps, can't find caliper, so you get the good reliable ruler (top is a sub-compact):

Think this is the way to go, cz 75b sa and have the Sao trigger installed to get rid of some of the pre traval

I laid my 75B on top of my XD tactical for a non scientific measurement. When the CZ is in single action, the trigger reach is about the same as the Tactical. My opinion on DA/SA on a 75B - the only time you'd used the DA would be in an attempt to get a second strike on dubious ammo. In a SHTF scenario, rack that puppy and get a new round in the chamber.
Despite any physical measurements we out here in the electron world can supply, YOU need to pick up and handle a firearm to fit. Since your local shop does not carry the models you are considering, maybe you can put out a call in your area by some means to see if anyone locally owns one. Offer to buy some ammo and meet some place to try it out. Perhaps list your location on this forum and maybe a member can help you out in that regard.
They really are different guns. I shoot the XD better.
Another thought might be a 1911 (even a 9mm 1911) and get a short trigger on it.
An EMP (start saving) will be good for small hands. It's almost too small for me.
Another smaller fitting 9mm is the Ruger SR9c.
