Irony: Just bought the Walther P22 mid-Dec., but wish I had had a heads-up to make a comparison. Break down of P22 is easy, but reassembly with long recoil spring is challenging.

I like that ruger makes quality firearms. But they really need to start making new designs and not copying other companies like keltec and walther now.

I can already see this is an improvement over the p22 though. Aluminum slide not zinc alloy.

like he just said, they need to come up with new fresh desings. why didn't they just take the SR-9 or 345 and covert it into a 22 rimfire or a 22 mag
