Here are some pics and thanks for you opinions, a lot of them had a strong impact on my decision.

You guys r the $hit!!
I doubt you'll be sorry with that decision.
I've never owned one, but many think they are the bomb (in a good way).

The best part is she picked it, and has already found some pink grips, to keep your grubby paws off of her gun

I've got one and so does a friend ... Never a problem with either of them, and they're cheap enough that you won't worry about tossing it under the seat or in the trunk, as a back-up, or whatever gun.

Someone on here once mentioned that theirs is always in the truck, been dropped repeatedly, abused to death, and still operating fine ... That's what sold me one the Carbine.

Grats on the Sig purchase. I have never shot a Sig but I have shot a Hi-Point .40 at the range. I was able to run about 100 rounds through it and didn't once have an FTF/FTE. It did shoot a bit to the left for me for some reason and it does feel cheap compared to my dad's Beretta 92FS and the XD and Glock I rented, but other than that bullets came out of the barrel when I pulled the trigger so it can't be complete crap.

HOWEVER! It does have one advantage that no other semi can even come close to touching. If (god forbid) you are ever in a firefight, once you run out of ammo, if you pistol whip someone with a Hi-Point I guarantee you will crush their skull in. That thing felt like someone bolted a grip frame to a cinderblock!
