Israeli Jericho 941
I just got a Jericho 941 Multi Caliber Semi-Automatic Pistol in 9mm para./.41 action express from a family member. It was made in 1990. I have a couple questions about this pistol.
1) Where can I find some good reliable mags for this pistol in 9mm I want to shoot this pistol in IDPA but I only have 2 mags right not and the minimum for IDPA is 3.
2) Can I buy a .40 or .45 barrel and spring for this pistol and will it switch out just like the .41 does with 9mm.
A couple other things you made need to know: It is full sized and it has a steel frame.
Thanks for reading!

You suck, I've been looking for a nice 941 for a while now. I am jealous. I don't have anything to really contribute other than my envy, and my wishes that the pistol treats you right.

No, you won't be able to swap out the barrel and spring for convert to .40 or .45. The 41AE is a based on .41magnum using a rebate rim with the same diameter as 9mm. Pretty much any 9mm can swap with .41ae is was a short lived caliber that never caught on. The IMI 40 and 45 Jericho/Baby Eagles have wider barrel diameters therefore wider slide diameters like with any other pistol.

Isn't the Jericho just a rebranded Baby Eagle(IMI)? Magnum Research/Kahr Arms is reimporting them.
Or you can try
Magnum Research Mags
CDNN also has the Jericho mags but only 10 rnds.
Happy hunting.
Looks like BG Atl beat me to it.

hehehe.... actually... it's the other way around...
the REAL model is Jericho 941 (taken from the 9mm/.41AE kit) and was/is manufactured by IWI (formerly IMI) Israeli Weapons Industries.
It has been imported as an UZI Eagle, Baby Eagle (NOT the Fast Action that MR tried to sell as a similar model) and as the Jericho 941.
Poor import rights have been around the block a few times

Considering Jericho 941
I am considering purchasing a Jericho 941. I have done a lot of research and from everything I have read, it is the perfect gun for me. I have small hands for a man but want a full sized steel framed sa/da 9mm with a decocker. Low recoil and accuracy are most my important considerations. Also I would like to stay around $500. I plan to keen this in my night stand and only fire it at the range so finding a holster or being able to conceal it are not considerations for me. Stress relief, peace of mind, and safety are at the top of my list.
I have shot a Beretta 92, a S&W MP and a Taurus 92. I liked the lower recoil of the Beretta over the S&W M&P and the smaller grip of the Beretta over the Taurus. Like many who have shot a Beretta I was not impressed with its accuracy.
This is my question. I cannot find a dealer in my area who carries one that I can hold and feel. This would be my first firearm. Would anyone recommend buying online without trying it first? Has anyone done this and been happy?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Jay
