Tax Return Splurge

Haven't seen any tax return threads, unless I'm looking in the wrong section. Anyone planning on buying guns this year with your tax return? I finished my taxes this weekend and looks like I'm getting a pretty good return. I'm planning on purchasing a Gen 3 Glock 19. Since it was a toss up between this and the XD9 (which I got 4 months ago), might as well have both of them.

My next gun will be a SA 1911 Range Officer and a Lever action .38 rifle (haven't settled on the exact model) but as far as a potentional tax return I think I may stock up on somee more eMac's freeze dried food for my disaster preps.

I had big plans to get a RIA 1911, XDM compact, and a PM40... as well as pay off some bills and save some for moving this summer... All those plans went down the drain when I decided to buy a new Highlander.

Won't be from a tax refund (we will likely owe) but my next planned acquisition will be a 20-24 inch octagonal-barreled blued or blued/case colored lever action rifle, in .44 magnum.... most likely a Model 92, or modern replica '92.

Will be paying (around $600) so it will have to wait until April

In the mean time, wife purchased a Sig SP2022 last weekend. I am liking this pistol so much that I am contemplating buying another.

Still saving for my .308 semi-auto rifle...hard part is making up my mind. Really torn and can't decide between AR-10, FAL, CETME, PTR91, and recently, Kel-Tec RFB.
