My new Sig P226 Navy
I wanted a full size 9mm and thought, I'm coming up on 18 years in the USN, why not go for the 226 Navy. Hopefully some range time tomorrow though I shot the range 226 plenty. I'm going to get Naval Aviator wings engraved on it as well.

Ha, just saw one of those with the anchor on it today at the local pawn/gun shop. It was used, cant remember the price off hand

I put 250 rounds through her today and as expected, she ran flawless. First 200 rounds were Winchester 124gr NATO 9mm followed by 50 rounds of Hornady 147gr XTP self-defense rounds....they are my bullets of choice for self-defense. I carry them with my other weapons as well. The Sig has a fantastic trigger pull, very smooth in both double and single action. Great gun thus far.

Put another 100 rounds through her today, perfect as usual. It's a Sig p226 so to be expected. It's heavy gun, all metal and all.
