Glock Jam...trading it in for an xdm
Thought i would share this here on the forum. Hope you appreciate this picture. share it with all the obsessed glock fans that refuse to accept that glocks can fail like any other handgun. I love how all the glockheads say glocks never jam blah blah blah... this glock 9mm has less than 200 rounds through it and shooting premium ammo..
Trading it in for an XDM ASAP not because of the jam but because i shot an xdm recently and fell in love.

Just a thought...but I've seen a variety of new guns have feeding or extracting issues when they're new and all the springs are still stiff (especially mag springs). Sure, you can get a lemon with any brand, but I'd give any gun more than just 200 rds before I traded it off. Just my $0.02...
Out of curiosity, what ammo where you using? Obviously looks to be brass-cased, and not steel/aluminum...

Probably Rem UMC. That junk will jam any 9mm Glock.
FWIW the two worst individual pistols I have ever seen was a Glock and a Kimber. The Glock was a monday gun made by some total novice. You name it, it had that kind of failure with any brand and kind of ammo no matter who shot it. Kimber was the same story. Only difference was the Kimber costed $1,000.00 more and after 3 trips back to the factory they informed the owner he was the problem. Glock replaced the pistol. Hint hint if it truely is a pistol issue. Just sayin........

If you call Glock they will make it right, but I can't fault you for waning an XDm.

Big whoop! A gun jammed in the first few hundred rounds. Why didn't you just hold a few other guns before you bought the Glock? I can't blame you for trading it in. I can't shoot a Glock to save my life, good guns though.

Even though I'm not a big fan of Glocks and my XD9sc has never jammed from day one. I have to say it is not unusual to see any brand pistol be a little on the finicky side with certain brands of ammo especially when new.

I can't fault you for wanting an XDm, but your decision may be a bit hasty. Glocks are very reliable pistols.
