I always ask in re: to this Sig, why not look at the PM9.? It's practically the same size and is a 9mm.

Just so you are aware there are a lot of people reporting issues especially with the HD model. If you go to sigfouums you will see a lot of bashing. But like anything else you will only hear the bad. I love mine as stated before and there are a lot of happy people just research and make a decision if you want to take a chance. I did and love it.

I have a P238 in Two Tone, and had no issues for the first 150 rounds. Put another 100 rounds thru it this weekend and started having issues around 40-50 rounds in. Same as others, failure to return to battery, failure to fire and faiure to eject. Opened it up and found that the Tulamo steel cased range ammo I was shooting was EXTREMELY dirty. Also, upon taking the slide off the guide rod practically fell out because the recoil spring had developed a kink where it meets the back end of the guide rod. I'm assuming this is the culprit for most, if not all of my issues. I'll be calling Sig first thing this morning to get a new spring sent out. I'm just glad I still have my XD-9sc to carry. I hope to have these issues worked out before summer hits here in Vegas. It's a pain to carry the XD in shorts and a t-shirt.

Well I called Sig, they are sending me a new recoil spring that is flat stock instead of round stock. Supposedly this will fix all of my problems and it will also last longer than the 1500 round interval that Sig originally stated they needed to be replaced in.

I also needed a new spring, otherwise it's been fine.
I only worry (a bit) about carrying it cocked and locked...I have an Uncle Mikles holster that has a strap that I have set tight between the hammer and the slide so the hammer can't move...I hope...if it had a grip safety 1911 style,it woudld be the best small carry ever.
It does carry nicely under a T shirt in the Florida summer, my XD 9 Sub is good for the cooler months with a regular shirt over it.

Best 380 out there IMHO.

Have had zero issues with either mine nor my wife's
(Nor have the other 3 folks I know who own them mentioned any issues)

My spring should arrive early this week. While I'm waiting I went ahead and got some 1200 grit emery paper and went to town. I polished the top of the chamber, the feed ramp, the area in the slide that contacts the hammer on cycling, and I also am working on the two extended 7rnd pinky mags I got for Christmas.
