Recoil Reducing Insert-Real or Crap?
I ran into this site by accident while I was researching the POF-308.
Stealth IR - Recoil Reduction
It is an intriguing concept, but I wonder if the inserts are legitimate or crap? They certainly are expensive enough. Also, I wonder if they affect the mechanical operation of the firearm over long term use?

Interesting concept. It seems like they have a lot of evidence backing their claims, and for that price it better do something.
I would be more interested if a gun manufacturer incorporated something like this into a gun.
Like an XDLR (XD low recoil).
Seems like a manufacturer could do well with something like this targeted for competitive shooting. It could really give a shooter an advantage.

The way I see it is, If this worked the first people that would be using it would be the competition shooters, steel challenge etc... I don't know of anybody that uses it.

If you're looking to reduce recoil on something like a .308, I highly reccomend using an Enidine hydraulic buffer. I just put one on my DPMS 308 and it is a real difference. And it only costs a hundred bucks.

What makes me doubt, they don't show WHAT exactly they do, or add, or what the mechanics look like... Even with patent pending, you have to show me SOMETHING PHYSICAL!
If they really wanted to sell these? Let the gun magazines, and gun television shows test them.

Exactly.
The physics of it confuses me. I don't really see how they could possibly work.

Also, this guy's site is full of snake oil. Each and every product he's come up with is a miracle/revolution/etc. and they're all UNKNOWN! Just waiting for you to try to re-sell to a public that needs these advancements...
