Ruger LCP Finger Extensions - SUGGESTIONS!?!?!
Just curious, what kind of finger extensions you may have on your Ruger LCP magazines?
I know Ruger makes one and Pearce has one as well.
Just curious what yours may be and any potential comparisons that may exist (materials, space between floor plate and frame) and your overall experience with them!?!
Please let me know ASAP.
Thank you for your time~

I use the factory exstensions and have no complaints and never felt the need to check out the pearce exstensions....they might be better but the factory one suites me just fine..and I have large hands

I bought the Pearce extensions, didn't like them. I traded them for the factory ones. For my hands, the factory ones were best. YMMV

I wasn't satisfied with either so I customized the Pearce extensions.
Left to Right- Ruger, Custom (curved), Custom (slanted)
Left to Right- Ruger, Custom (curved), Custom (slanted)
Left to Right- Custom (slanted), Original Pearce, Ruger

I use the factory mostly. I have used and shot with both. The factory and the pierce showed no difference in comfort or accuracy when shooting. Both were a huge improvement over the regular magazine though! I use the factory because it conceals better in the pocket. It also fits the gun slightly better.

Very interesting . . . you did some nice work there.
But I'm curious -- why did you modify them? How are yours better than the Ruger or Pearce?
Thanks for any info you can offer.

The Ruger ext. was just a little too small for my large hands to fit comfortably. The Pearce ext. was a little too big. I could almost squeeze my pinky on the bottom of the pearce one, but not quite. This made me have to spread my pinky finger apart from my ring finger which is very uncomfortable when shooting. So I ground down the Pearce to fit my hand exactly and no extra to print when carrying. With that curved one, I can now lock my pinky back under the mag and it doesn't rub on the excess plastic.
