Talking Post your rimfires

Any rimfire junkies out there. I have a growing love for rimfires especially .22's.

So post up a rimfire and tell us about it.

I'll start. Here is my Beretta Neos. It has had a few thousand rounds through it. A few malfunctions when it was new, but is pretty reliable now. It eats everything, but mostly only sees bulk from walmart. It is remarkably accurate, especially with the red dot. I can pick off cans at 100 yards all day with it. Breakdown is a breeze and the scope is fixed even when the barrel is off so it stays zeroed perfectly. IMO it is a very underappreciated pistol. I know the Rugers and Brownings get most of the attention, but Beretta did a good job with this one.

Wow I haven't shot many .22 pistols but hitting tin cans from 100 yards with ease out of a 5" or 6" barrel seems pretty crazy to me. I have trouble doing that with my 10/22 sometimes. Nice gun! I like the way the grips look.

Ya, I didn't mean to make it sound like I can hit a can every time. But 7 out of a 10 round clip is pretty normal. When I go shooting we shoot at the desert, so most everyone brings rifles. So we usually set up targets at 80 to 120 yards. I just plink away with my Neos. The kids really love it.

Didn't mean to make this about my Neos though. If you have a rimfire post it up!

+1 Are we talking beer cans or fifty five gallon drums?

A Ruger Mk 1 with a Tactical Solutions upper on it.

For a rimfire rifle, I'm getting to like this recently purchased M&P 15-22.....

That MK I is awesome
I would love to have one of those. I see you are also a fan of inexpensive red dots. BSA makes quite a deal. I have had years of good luck with all of mine.

And very inexpensive as well. Definitely worth a look.

Keep 'em coming!

I just bought my first Marlin on Black Friday. I got a Marlin 60 for $149. I've wanted one for years. I believe it's basically the same rifle as yours just with no clip. How reliable is your 795?

You will love your Marlin 60. I have one with the SS barrel and I have never had a failure of any kind. I lost count after 2000 rounds. I just wish it could hold more rounds.
