Question Springfield Armory M6 Scout!

Howdy ya'll,

I e-mailed SA about bringing back the M6 Scout, and they had no plans to do so. It ceased production from them in Jan 2005. I have wanted one for a backpack gun, as a companion to my self-defense carry. Cuz' squirrels spin 'bout a hunert yards when you head shot 'em with a .45 ACP.

Anywhoo. Wanted to get some opinions on the weapon from some who have shot one, own one, or might have an alternative suggestion. They run between $210 to $300+ on variants used, which is still reasonable.

A'ight. 'precaite the future input.

Sounds interesting. Any favorite pictures of them / anyone have one?

I'm pretty sure someone makes them under a different name. Don't know how I know that but I will see if it's true.

My brother has one in .22 Hornet and 410 gauge, the 410 barrel
will also handle 45 Colt.

Great little backpack gun, lots of fun to shoot.

.22 Hornet rounds cost a fortune, but we reload the brass so its
not to bad.

Actually, Henry is selling the Semi-auto AR-7 .22 collapsible rifle.

The one I would like is the M6, .22/.410 combo. Now if HENRY came up with that for under $200 bucks? I'd buy it.

I'll do a Google. I know Boderman's Sports supposedly has the originals, but I may check to see if they're the re-releases.

The M6 is going now for 450 to 700 now if you can find them. I have been looking for a deal on one for sometime.
