Very nice (the 590A1). I reworked my 870 to be as close to that as I could get it - plus the Mossberg is parkerized.
I prefer the slightly longer barrel (20") to get the higher shell capacity (9). With the adjustable stock it makes a fine weapon.

I don't know much about that 930SX, but I have a friend that really likes his. I am a big fan of semi-auto shotguns for personal protection. FN makes a few that are worth looking at if you are considering a SA. The SLP line is great, there are some different choices and they run and run.
FN Self-Loading Shotguns
Some people don't like SA for personal protection. I believe either is fine as long as you train well and practice enough to be able to trust the weapon when it's go time.

You can get an 870 along with the tactical stock and a mag extension for about $150 less than that one.

gonna agree....I just don't like the M4 stock on anything but the AR platform. I had an M4 stock on my mossy 500 and quickly took it off and sold it.

I like the first one.
I have the 870 express with the short barrel so a tube extension won't work. I really like the 9 round capacity!
