I've been so damned impressed with my RIA Government so far, that I will seriously consider the Commander length when they start importing them again. But then again...I'm a cheap SOB!

I'd consider the SA US GI Champion Lightweight (PW9143LP) if you can find one. It's got a 4" barrel and aluminum frame and weighs just 28 oz. (I have the 3" Micro and it weighs in at 32 oz).

i like the kimber also but this being a springfield based site why not the SA
in the 4in? for about 750
