Which 1911 to buy....

I'd consider the SA US GI Champion Lightweight (PW9143LP) if you can find one. It's got a 4" barrel and aluminum frame and weighs just 28 oz. (I have the 3" Micro and it weighs in at 32 oz).

i like the kimber also but this being a springfield based site why not the SA
in the 4in? for about 750

Take out a 2nd mortgage then go:

Forgot to mention in my prior post about the SA US GI Champion Lightweight (PW9143LP). They retail new starting about $430 or so.
