Jericho/Baby Eagle/Uzi Eagle 9mm pistol owners

Any one here got a Jericho 9mm pistol or the Magnum Research 9mm baby eagel ( same thing)
I am interested in hearing good or bad about them and these questions:
1. are they cast steel or machined
2. are there any problems with them that they are known for ?

I don't know much about them but if the Israelis make it it's most likely a good piece of equipment. I do really like the looks of them though.

I don't own one yet but will be adding one to my Israeli weapons collection soon.

Only thing i can say is heavy, a fully loaded xdm9 weighs less than a empty baby eagle w/empty mag.

I havent held one in a long time , but I know its heavy . The thing good thing I have heard is that it makes the recoil almost non-existant or very low . Great for a home defense gun and range fun gun.
I am wondering about the reliability and the avaiability of the parts and mags .

From what I know they are CZ 75 clones, which is not a bad thing at all, that pistol being one of the best 9mm's made today. Here is a brief review I ran across.

The MRI Baby Eagle is all steel with a 4.52" barrel. Handles just like the CZ 75, but more solid. Very good shooter with a strong heavy feel to it. About 500 rounds for break-in. I love shooting this baby. The good trigger and solid feel makes this the ultimate double-tap pistol. It is as close to the perfect shooter as you can get. The MRI Baby Eagle is a good choice for combat competition. I would have ranked it above the CZ if the exterior finish was better. Overall quality is great. The Baby Eagle is built to last a lifetime. The Isralies sure know how to make fine firearms. Also known as the Jericho 941.

my wife owns a semi-compact 3.5" barrel polymer BE. Very nice gun. Eats WWB, BB, FC, with ease, along with HST and Gold Dots. Manual says no +P though (haven't really looked at the chamber to see if it's supported or not). It weighs less than XD

thanks guy for the information . Its on my

"to get list" .

I held 2 of them today in the .45ACP caliber and they arent as heavy as people make them out to be . My CZ-75 is all steel like the Jericho and they seem about the same weight . And I carry my CZ-75 as a ccw .

I wanted to buy a Jericho simply because it's from IWI/IMI/MR, I <3 Israel.

Problem was price and the external hammer, I was concerned with it rubbing into my side. But I WILL own a Jericho before I die

I got some weight on me and I carry a CZ-75 full size on my waist in an out-side-the belt holster and my hammer never even rubs me at all.
You should be fine if you get it .
