I did have the XD9SC and still have my G26 and G27
I bought the XD first and then just didn't like the way it felt...and then bought the G26. The 26 is a bit more compact and didn't feel as chunky and top heavy as the GLOCK.
Both a great little pistols, you'll have to handle each to make up your mind.

Just asked myself this very same question this week. I walked away with the XDsc. My reasons:
1.) The XD fit my hand better
2.) I prefer the grip angle on the XD over a Glock. Don't get me wrong, I love Glocks (I have a 19).
3.) Bang for the buck, the XD won. It cost less plug you get all the XD gear goodies to boot.

This is my XD9SC (same size as XD40SC) and my brother's G27
I personally like how the XD feels, but the Glock is a lot lighter and slightly smaller.

Anyone got a picture of the XD and Glock side by side with the slides down (like on a table) and grips up so the height difference is easier to see?
I've got a 27, but am interested in a XD40sc too.
