got it from my dad (who is suffering from our wonderful economy) for $400, he bought it 2-3 months ago for $550.
i was reluctant, as i was going to buy my xdsc the next day, so my dad said he'd buy it back from me when he got back on his feet. so until that (if/when) i own a $400 taurus judge
i also proposed the argument of "i just don't wanna be without a carry weapon any longer, dad". but he had a good point:
i haven't even APPLIED for my permit yet
it'll take years (seemingly) for FLA to process all the paperwork, so might as well sport the judge for home protection/emergency preperation in the mean time...
true.

i love it, man!
like i said, my dad's had it for a month or three so we've had it to the range a coupla times. i wanna get a hold of some of those .410 shells that federal developed specifically for the judge, but regular shells get the job done. the .45 colt rounds are surprisingly accurate out of it, but in all reality - they are really expensive AND why would you pack those if you can carry 5 rounds of 00 or 000 buckshot??
each of the pellets in the 000 are almost a .38 round!!!
i'll be carrying it in the winter if i have my permit by then

posted pics in a seperate thread.... its the steel frame, silver finish, with the 3" magnum cylinder... awwww yeah.
if i had pick of the litter, i'd probly go with the 2 1/2" cylinder to add a little more concealability, and since the federal judge personal defense shells are only 2 1/2" ones anyway, ..... i'd stay with the steel frame, though... reduces recoil.
btw, i didn't mention that the recoil is no more even with the 3" shells than a .357
can't beat it
if anyone hasn't seen the official video, go to taurus' website, or search "taurus judge" on youtube (to lazy to post links)
