6 months isn't that bad. Trust is the way to go from what everyone tells me. I have a few friends who bought silencers at the silencers are legal shoot. They were expecting 9 months.

I haven't been to the range with them to really tell, just did a little backyard plinking.

The wait might not be that bad. They have some contractors working with the examiners.

I just checked on the status of mine and was told to expect 6 months. The standard answer used to be 5 months. "Pending" date was May 24, so I'm looking at Nov. 24. It's a long damn time when I ordered the thing January 11.

Went to the range today. I didn't notice any difference in my shooting. There is almost no recoil with the p22 and you can barely hear it with the earmuffs on.

With the glock the recoil is very minimal. The sound difference in sub and super sonic rounds is very noticeable even with earmuffs on.

Awesome. Maybe suppressors can become a new hobby(something to spend my money on) some day soon. Thanks for the report.
