First handgun - new XD Tactical owner
Hi, another newb come to pick everyones brains. I've been shooting for a while but only long guns, until the recent political situations suggested getting a nice auto in case the supply got short.

After a fellow board (local shooters forum) member let me shoot some of his XD's I got myself a nice shiny new XD Tactical in .45ACP. I'll probably be adding a compact in the same calibre, as it was a tough choice between the two!

I'm an ex-pat Brit who's lived in the US for 6yrs now and love it. I learned to read from old Guns and Ammo annuals with my dad as a kid, so living in a gun-free country was not fun. Now I'm living here things have really improved
