Newbie from Alabama
Hello, I purchased my second handgun about 3 1/2 weeks ago. A new XD 45ACP 4" Service model with thumb safety. I absolutely love it! I have already shot around 250 rounds through it and it does great. This is my first automatic handgun, being that my other gun was a S&W 38 special airweight hammerless.
Im thinking about buying some Tritium sights for it and not real sure what to go with(Meprolight, Trijicon, TruGlo..?) These are all listed on the Springfield Armory XD and HS-2000.com website. Also, I have been buying 100 round boxes of Winchester 45 Auto 230 grain FMJ's from Wally World. At $33 a box after tax that starts adding up, and we all know that ammo is just gonna get higher. So does anyone have any good advice on buying cheap(in price not quality) bulk ammo other than gun shows? I have looked on Cheaper Than Dirt - America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter, MidwayUSA — Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes, www.sportsmansguide.com, and thats really about it. All your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Grizzly. |

Welcome from the Gunshine State! Go with Trijicon or Mepros for night sights.
