Newbie from Atlanta!
I am new to this forum and fairly new to the gun scene. I used to do some hunting when I was younger but have not been out in a few years. I used to own a S&W .375 but sold it a while ago. I am now back in the market for a pistol I can use for self defense and also do some range shooting. In my research I have pretty much settled on the XD. I thought I wanted a XD-9mm, and then I saw the XDm-40 come out. I was at a gun show this weekend and they had the XDm-40 there. It looked and felt pretty sweet! Now I don't know what to do. Does any one know when there will be an XDm-9mm out. Maybe I will just hold off until then.
Looking forward to hearing what others have to say! swampsnake |

Welcome to the forum!! I chose the 40 service for a couple of different reasons, but the cal will be your own choice based on your taste.. Good luck.

Hello swampsnake, welcome to the forum. I chose the XD9 because I could afford to buy more 9mm ammo than any other. Therefore, more practice. Whatever you choose, it is an awesome gun!

Welcome from south Florida. The XDM in the 40 cal is the only option now. I have one and I love it.

Welcome to the forum. There hasn't been any talk or hints of XDM releases in other calibers as of yet. I would get the XD-9 now, I have two of them and they have both been flawless.
