Hello from Missouri
Hi.
I just got my new XD9 SC about a week ago. I love it. Haven't got to shoot it alot yet, as not alot of money to invest in that much ammo. Did buy 3 boxes (1 for "carry" -- cost me $40, and 2 for "practice" -- cost me $14 each) and don't know if that is about right on prices or not. Anyone know where I can buy it alot cheaper than those prices? (Carry ammo was bought where I bought the gun and is hollow point. The other boxes came from Walmart.) I've owned/shot a .22 single shot rifle since I was about 10 years old, and have owned/shot a .22 (very small!) revolver for about 24 years. I also own/have shot several times, a .410 shotgun. As a side note, the tiny .22 revolver has "RG" on the grips. Anyone know what kind of gun it is? I bought it used (along with the shotgun) and don't know anything about it. This XD9 is about the "biggest" gun I've really ever shot more than a few rounds thru. I was afraid I'd be intimidated by it, but I'm not really. It is very easy to use and I'm learning as I go. I was wondering is it possible to get magazines for it that hold more than the 10 or 16 rds that it comes with? I just found this forum a few days ago, and have already learned alot from it. THANKS!! You guys are great!! I added myself to the map, too. AppyHorsey (aka: Deloris)
