Thanks guys! That Kel Tec really is the ultimate deep cover carry gun. It'll shoot a 6" target at 25 yards! and fits in a leather wallet holster than goes in the back pocket of my pants. There's never an excuse not to carry -- and it weighs about 12oz loaded.

Its a piece of junk, but its accurate, reliable and small enough to always come for the ride. I carry it everywhere.

But I do like the XD. Its a great truck gun, it does shoot nicely, and its safe and tough for the daily grind. The trigger is lightyears better than the G17 I had prior and the grip angle is consistent with my race guns. I do like it.

Welcome from eastern NC.

I also just got a XD9 Service;hoping to fire it for the first time this weekend.I just finished cleaning it.Have you been able to determine how your sights are set up-POA/POI or 6 o'clock?

Its a tight 6 o'clock. At 15yards it was a whisker over POA. They'll come off eventually to match the Bomar/Fiber Optic I'm accustomed to.
