Here are pics of what rides with me everywhere.

Keep in mind this bag does not ride around on my shoulder into stores and stuff. This is pretty much a trunk or passenger seat bag with extra goodies in it in case I ever need them. I also take it with me when I go on trips anywhere. Unless I'm on the motorcycle then I condense what I can into a Maxpedition Versipack.

Picked it up from LAPOLICE gear when they got a load of them in that were the wrong color. They were on clearance for like 20 bucks.

This stuff rides in the Velcro flap pockets on the front

This stuff rides in the two end pockets. The end pockets are big enough for those Nalagene (SP?) bottles.

This stuff rides on the other side of the velcro pockets. The bottom long tube thing holds a basic first aid kit I put together myself. The upper pocket holds odds and ends like my multi-tool keys, ect. The flashlight rides in a dedicated flashlight/asp pocket towards the top

And this stuff rides in the main compartment. Those are the main entrees out of a field stripped MRE. Enough to sustain me back to the house or to other means of food if I get stranded or what not.

Of course I've got enough room to add stuff when I see fit depending on what I'm doing or how far I'll be from the house.

ETA-on the side that the velcro pockets are on there is a "hidden" compartment for stowing a handgun or what ever you deem fit. It has velcro on the inside also for the mounting of various stuff such as Maxpedition's Velcro holster deal they have in their line. Works pretty good.

All I carry is my cellphone, a multitool, pocketknife and my XD-9s/c. Of course I have my keys, wallet, lucky coin and my dog squeaker(long story but my kids love it) in my pocket too. My cell is in a holder on my weak hand side, xd in it's holster on my strong side, mulititool in it's holder right behing the XD, and my knife is clipped on the inside of my pocket. Actually been thinking about stop carrying the pocketknife while carry the XD, and just leave the knife for at work(as I use it to cut boxes and such at times).

jeep...do you mind listing the items (i.e. the med kit you assembled, the odds and ends, etc.)? i'd like to assemble such a pouch...also, i'm guessing you have an ar with you at all times as well, given the fact that you carry 4 mags with you...is that the case? if so, i need to work on saving for a "truck gun"!

LOL no I don't carry an AR with me all the time. I do take it with me if I leave out of the immediate area of the house though like out of the county. I stuff it into it's bag and throw it in the back of the car. The mags are in the bag because I've been hitting the range a lot lately and every time it's been a last minute type of deal.

I'll pull the med stuff out tonight and inventory it.

Somethings change depending on what I'm doing in the bag it's flexible.

Sorry it took so long to get an update on my med stuff. I went though it tonight and added some stuff and removed some old stuff that was in there.

Here is a list pictures either tomorrow or the next day

2 pr nitrile gloves
1 roll 1st aid tape
1 kerlix roll
1 3x18 Vaseline impregnated gauze
4 2x2 gauze pads
2 4x4 gauze pads
14x4 topper dressing sponge (the dressing that has a "seal" over the top)
2 large band aids
2 large elastic band aids
6 regular ol' band aids
1 small bottle of Aspirin
1 tube of iodine ointment

I'm also putting together something small that can fit in my cargo pocket of my 5.11 pants.

I have a larger FAK in my overnight bag and an even larger one in my 3 day BOB.

I also put together a "pocket FAK" that fits in the cargo pocket of my 5.11 pants (should work in any cargo pockets though).

It's very small and weighs nothing. I've had it in my pocket all day and I've barely noticed it.
