Hello from Las Vegas.
Welcome and Congrats on your purchase of the XD9. I just bought the subcompact for my conceal carry weapon and took it out to the range for the first time last weekend and put over 100 rounds through it.
This is a fine weapon and I literally had a BLAST with it!
Its very accurate. I used Winchester ammo of course from Wal-Mart 100 rounds for about 20 bucks (what a deal). I also fired a few hydroshoks, and +P ammo through it.

Can you buy Walmart ammo online? i can't seem to find it. Can you post a link?

Pretty sure you have to purchase it in person.

AMMOMAN.COM is a decent place to buy ammo and they ship it to you for free.

Welcome to the forum from UT! Nothing wrong with the 9mm for defense. I have the 45 and it has fed, shot, and ejected every time I pull the trigger. The XD9s should be the same.

A quick question. I probably pick up my new XD tomorrow, and I'm going to want to hit the range ASAP. Are there instructions in the package as to the recommended lubrication points in the gun? Or is there a pdf floating around these forums?
