New to XD
I've owned serveral M1911 of various manufaturer, Kel-Tecs and Taurus, and am considering one more 9mm, and am trying to decide between a Sig P22x, XD or (not likely, despite all my local LEOs' recommendations) a Glock. So I hope the forum helps me sort it out.

Welcome from Phoenix. I suggest renting an XD to see if you like it. My guess is you will.

Welcome from Washington. I was highly impressed with all the online reviews I read about the XD and fell in love with it when I held it in my hand. Good thing I ignored all the gun shops I went to, because they all tried to sell me a Glock.
