I am a new member, my husband and I purchased our xd 9mm a month ago and I shot it for the first time this weekend. Did great for never shooting a gun before missed the target a whole 3 times out of 28 and hit the center 3 times.
I am currently looking at learning all I can about gun safety and usage and will be purchasing my own gun within the next few months and attending one on one training locally. So any and all tips are appreciated. Kristie |

Welcome from Ohio. I am fairly new. I chose the XD9SC for it's features, size, etc. It was extremely accurate first shot, almost no recoil, and the trigger is smooth. The size makes it fit really good for my hand. Congrats and good luck. A CCW class helps too.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the XD. Sounds like you are off to a good start and that you will need to go get our own XD so that your husband can shoot and carry also. Have fun and shoot safe.
