New XD9SC - Las Vegas
The XD took my firearm virginity. I would just like to thank all who posted input here as alot of the reviews and comments here sold me on the XD. $559 w/ Hiene Straight 8's.
To put it simple; the XD fits, works and I love it. The only negative thing I have heard about them (other than rust on the older models) is an issue related to an agressive grip on the XD40SC with the extension causing the slide to lock prematurely. I can say with confidence that I trust this firearm and I am very proud to own one along with practically everyone else here. Again thank you all for your various inputs as I have been lurking around here for months and just signed up for the forums and purchased my gun a couple of weeks ago. You have been extremely helpful. |

Welcome to the forum and XD ownership from UT! I have the straight eight sites on my 1911 and have considered putting them on my XD.
