Hello.

New to the forums, been lurking for a few days. I bought a Beretta M9 a few weeks ago and decided that I would prefer something with a little more OOMPH for carry, so I went and put an XD .45 Service on layaway (went with layaway so I could guarantee myself the one I looked at and because of the 1 handgun per 30 days law). I'll be able to legally pick it up next week on the 22nd. I shot one at the range and oooh baby... I can't wait.

I've ordered a Blackhawk Serpa holster, some of the rubber Decal Grips, and of course some ammo. I'll be taking my basic safety class this coming Saturday and then I'll be able to apply for concealed. Then I have the fun time of deciding which holster to use for concealed and if I want to buy a compact or subcompact for carrying concealed... But considering how much I enjoyed shooting the XD at the range I'll probably buy a few of them

Also, does anyone have recommendations on which sites to order ammo from? Right now I am using cheaperthandirt.com
