Hello, just got a new XD
Hey everybody. I just bought a new Springfield XD 45 Compact last week. It's the first gun I've actually owned, so I'm pretty excited. I even influenced my brother to sell his Beretta and buy the same gun I got!

Anyways, I read some threads on this forum before buying the XD and it helped me solidify my decision to buy the XD. So I thought I would join the forum!

Welcome from Milton,FL. Great choice in the XD45C, I love mine it is my cold weather carry firearm and in hot weather I switch to my XD40SC because it is easier to conceal under a light shirt. But if I could only choose one it would be my XD45C it is simply awesome as far as I am concerned. You should now start saving for your next XD because once you catch XD fever there is no cure but shooting them often does take the edge off some.
